Mr. Fabrice Bizet and Ms. Fanny Ruinart, of France, spent some time touring Evans Community Adult School, one of LA Unified's Division of Adult and Career Education (DACE) campuses. Prior to their tour, they spent some time with Principal Badeau and his administrative team asking questions about Adult Education funding, the programs we offer, the cost of the programs, and other school related questions.
Their tour focused on three ESL classes of various levels, one Academic Life Skills class, and one Medical Assistant Career Technical Education (CTE) class.
Mr. Fabrice Bizet and Ms. Fanny Ruinart took the opportunity to ask questions of students and teachers alike. They were most interested in where the students were from, when they started learning English, if they worked, and what their plans were after finishing their education.
After the tour, we sat down with our visiting delegates to share coffee and pastries while giving them the opportunity to ask more questions. We truly enjoyed their visit and welcome them to return to Evans Community Adult School at any time.
