The Accelerated College and Career Transition program (AC2T) is for young adults ages 16-24 who want to earn a high school diploma or equivalency. Listen to a former and present ACCT students share their experiences, hardships, and hopes for the future as high school graduates.

Nashua High School was when I first started I wasn't too focused I was like the other kids it's messing around and stuff I felt like I didn't fit in when I was out of town fish I went through three traditional high schools and it wasn't working out for me and I want to finish then I wanted to as you can so when I was in 10th Grade I had a baby I'm by the time that I was actually ready to go back I was already too far behind when I was in High School I was struggling in group homes in and out of group homes and going to school at the same time branded by the teachers you can say knowing that are all the teaching that has gone on I would not be graduating at the end of my senior year I fell in love with the program because as soon as I walked in through the are doors the counselor booted me with a lot of like dignity or birth how do I tell you used to do but Work loading the teacher it felt very smooth gave me goals to finish with my high school diploma sooner than I expected you can choose between getting a high school diploma or high school equivalency think I lied is that you can take classes at your own pace I really like the teachers because they were so nice and kind and very motivational their understanding and are persuasive if I needed help in math I have one to you help me in my life if I need help with English I have one teacher help me with English action black people more when I want attention will make a special design for 16 to 24 year old there's a lot of mutual respect among the students and everyone's focused on their goals and helping each other out after graduating it felt very nice to put in my resume that I was a high school graduate to enroll La unified adult division program auto mechanics like I did my part to be a good role model to my after so many years in college I graduated with my Masters in Education I am not teaching High School in LAUSD after graduating I now take college classes to become a business lawyer Maya B everybody is always always put your all into your education and never give up on it. it's a life-changing program
